Well, I have a confession to make. I know that I have 3 amazing little boys that run around my house and one is ONLY ten months old. I really shouldn't blame this on them because really it isn't their fault, but it's great excuse to use to justify to myself that I'm okay. Alright, here's my confession...I'm at the heaviest I have ever been (ouside of being pregnant) in my life!! What?! How did this happen? I know how it happened: chocolate chip cookies, chocolate, chocolate chip cookies and did I say, chocolate? I have a love affair with chocolate that I can't seem to break and the several cans of soda I drink a day isn't helping my butt, thighs, or muffin top either.
I joined the Dump Your Plump team at school. It's a 10 week challenge in Johnson County to be healthier. So, I need motivation to get this done. I want to make a realistic goal that is attainable for the end of the 10 weeks. The goal I gave at school is 15 pounds in 10 weeks. Eek!! That scares me! I'm not good at dieting (hate that word) or excercising on a regular basis. So, here I am putting it out there on the web for others to read in hopes of holding myself accountable to reach this goal. Ready, set, GO!!
First thing keep it positive...I have had many "adventures" with weight loss. I looking back I realize the more positve I am the more I am to be active with my exercies. I don't like to diet cause food is my major weakness. So I don't I just cut my food portions in half which also meant my soda as well. I drank more water and got on a regular routine with a PARTNER to excerise. That was the key for me and I lost over 80 pounds, but that was also over a years time.
ReplyDeleteJust remember you have people that look up to you no matter how much you weigh in at!!!
